Spring is here!

Finally Spring has arrived in NYC. This weekend was awesome, and it made me want to shop for lighter clothes (really?!). One of the first things i saw and loved are these Philip Lim glasses... love the color, and makes you look cool no matter what you wear! Thoughts?

Quest'anno mi sono innamorata degli stivaletti. Guardate questi, di Belstaff, non sono perfetti? Potrei aggiugerli alla mia wish list, ma ho deciso di metterci solo cose che la gente si puo' permettere..lo so, sono molto altruista! Ahah!

This year i am into short boots.. Look at these Belstaff booties, aren't they perfect? Just love them.. I could add them to my wish list, but i decided to put in there just stuff that we can actually afford! I know, how nice of me!!! Ahah!

Keen For McQueen

Questa si che e' una sciarpa che comprerei, se non fosse cosi costosa! Il legendario McQueen (deceduto quest'anno) e' principalmente noto per la sua sciarpa con i teschi. Tutte le Vip e fashionistas l'hanno indossata di tutti i colori possibili negli ultimi anni. Non ne sono mai stata entusiasta, e nn l'avrei indossata  personalmente... ma QUESTA e' tutta un'altra faccenda! Adoro le sciarpe e i maglioni leopardati, quindi dicamo che va da se'! Qualcuno mi vuole fare un regalo?

This is a scarf i would definetely get, if it wasn't so expensive! McQueen (who died this year) is super famous for the skull scarf - of course he did many more notable things. All the celebrities and fashionistas had one. I thought it was ok, but would never wear one myself.. but THIS is a different story... i love leopard prints, so.. the math is easy! Anyone wants to make me a gift?

Discovering New York

Lo scorso weekend, tornando da un pranzo di compleanno, ci siamo ritrovati davanti un negozio alquanto interessante.  Si chiama fisch for the hip e lo definirei un negozio dell'usato di alto rango. Ci potete trovare da Louboutins a borse di Chanel e valigie vintage LV ad accessori e gioielli di hermes a tanto altro.. tutto praticamente nuovo! Penso che questo come altri negozi simili si siano proprio riempiti di merce durante la recessione... La cosa migliore da fare e farci un salto ogni tanto e chissa' magari troverete un affarone!

Last weekend, on our way back from a birthday lunch we found a very interesting store. The name is fisch for the hip and it is a high end consignment store. You can find Louboutins, Chanel bags, accessories, LV vintage suitcases (everything in very good conditions)... well, the prices are still high, but way less the the ones you find in the stores! I think that stores like this got really busy with the recession! The best thing to do is go there every once in a while and maybe you'll find a great deal..

I would definetely be Pretty Ballerinas! A store completely filled with hundreds, thousands of ballerinas! The store is originary from Spain but is now present in Uk and Us as well!

Mini Bags!

Piccole pratiche e divertenti! Quest'estate le mini bags sono un must! Ho sempre usato borse giganti, soprattutto ora che ho una bambina le trovavo super comode (era un po difficile ripescare quello che mi serviva, ma quello e' un altro discorso!!!) ma adesso che arriva l'estate, non ho proprio voglia di portarmi a presso borse pesanti ed ingombranti! Quindi il mio programma e' di mettere tutto nella borsa sotto il passeggino e usare una borsa piccola, piccolissima, con il minimo indispensabile! Cosa ne pensate, ho ragione? E per chi non ha passeggino.. beh il problema non si pone, non avete bisogno di portarvi dietro il mondo!

Small practical and fun! This summer the mini bags are a must! I always used huge bags, especially now that I have a baby I think they are super useful (it was a bit hard to pull out what I needed, but that 's another story!) But now that summer comes, I really want don't want to walk around with heavy and bulky bags! So my plan is to put everything in the bag under the stroller and use a small bag, very small, with the bare minimum!

Tornano alla grande le suole di paglia!!! Quelle con il tacco non mi sono mai piaciute ma queste versioni ultrapiatte sono divertenti non trovate?

Espadrillas are back! I have never been a huge fan of the high heeled ones.. but these flat versions are pretty funny don't you think?

Diciamo la verita', quanto ci piace comprare cappelli che non metteremo mai?! Anche questa estate e' di moda il modello Fedora! Eccone 2 versioni che forse vale la pena comprare (visto il prezzo) e rischiare di non mettere! Anche se personalmente penso siano molto mettibili!

Oggi e' il mio compleanno! Si passa la collinetta e arrivo (era ora come dice Frankie!!!) a 30! Avevo un'idea in mente, quando ero piccola... arrivare a 30 anni con un marito, almeno una figlia e vivere negli Stati Uniti. Queste cose si sono tutte avverate. Grazie Frankie! Tarina per Sephora

Tarina Tarantino arriva da Sephora! Ho provato a scegliere una cosa sola da comprare, ma non e' facile! Al solito Tarina e' riuscita a complicarci la vita! Prima compravo rossetti ecc. solo per comprarli (in effetti non mi trucco molto, ma che soddisfazione comprare un rossetto o un blush!!!) e adesso, mi ha dato un motivo in piu' per volerne ancora!!! Rossetti, ombretti, ciprie e accessori... uno piu' carino dell'altro.. rosa, sbrilluccicanti.. AIUTOOOO!

Come farei senza i miei Hunter

Li ho ormai da un annetto ma solo ultimamente ho iniziato ad apprezzarli veramente. Oltre al fatto che sono super pratici per la pioggia, io mi sento diversa quando li indosso, mi aiutano a migliorare l'umore, davvero..!
Sono facili e poco impegnativi da abinare ma fanno sempre la loro figura (non elegante, per carita'!) Li terrei addosso anche in ufficio... li considero un ottimo acquisto!
In piu' li potete personalizzare in tanti modi!

Questi nella foto sono quelli proposti da Jimmy Choo.. si, sono out of stock e sono ultra cari, sui $750! Personalmente credo siano piu belli i modelli base, che ricordano proprio la caccia/pesca!
